What is the CDL, and who does it serve?

The CDL is designed to meet the developmental needs of all children, as a supplement to the child's family. Each child is allowed to express his/her own ideas and feelings through a well rounded curriculum, including activities in the areas of art, large and small motor development, language, literature, science, math, dramatic play, music and creative movement.

Because our program is designed to maximize individual development, our activities focus on the process of learning. The emphasis is on the experiences of the child rather than results. Days are filled with planned and spontaneous moments of learning. There is time for outdoor play, imaginative games, independent discovery and group time experiences.
